The Lady Fellowes of West Stafford LVO
We are very pleased to announce that we have a new Patron – The Lady Fellowes of West Stafford LVO writes “ I would be greatly honoured and most delighted to become a Patron to Dyscover”.
During remembrance week we were privileged to have had a visit from her in her capacity as Lady Emma Kitchener, our Members learned about her family background and shared their WW1 family stories and also connected through our mutual experiences of Stroke. We formed a friendship and shared an outlook on the breaking down of barriers that people with aphasia in particular face. Alice Owen says “ We are thrilled she has agreed to support us in this way we are sure she will help raise greater awareness of aphasia and the work we do”.
