Dyscover is extremely unique in the way it supports people with aphasia. We adopt the life participation approach to aphasia which focuses on putting people with aphasia in the lead, introducing and using everyday communication skills, which are centred to each individual, supporting whole lives, including families.

We have an open-door policy, for our families, hosting regular family support meetings and where there is shared need can design meetings around a specific theme.

Much of our Primary Progressive Aphasia support, includes supporting couples/family members together.

Communication Partners Training is a hugely beneficial short course we offer. It looks at tackling individual barriers to successful conversations, honing in on using the right communication strategies to enable positive and effective conversations with a regular conversation partner.
