What is Aphasia?

A person with aphasia has communication difficulties which may affect speaking, understanding, reading or writing. This occurs as a result of damage to the brain e.g Stroke.

Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) is a gradual loss of language skills, in most cases caused by frontotemporal dementia.
