Celebrating National Curry Week

The air was filled with tantalising aromas yesterday as 12 Monday men donned their aprons and rolled up their sleeves.

The results were two delicious chicken curries, two coconut and lentil dahls, rounded off with a very popular bread and butter pudding.

This was cooked from scratch within 90 minutes, and polished off much faster. Well done members for such great effective communication, cooperation and team work using aphasia-friendly recipes and supporting each other to chop, weigh and measure, especially important when people have one-sided weakness.

Members unanimously voted to do more cookery next term so watch this space for some authentic Italian meatballs…..
