The Autumn outing to Milestones Museum in Basingstoke was a huge hit.
We enjoyed taking a stroll (literally) down memory lane to explore what life was like in Victorian England and the 1930′s. There were life-size streets, buildings, shops, dozens of restored vehicles, and homes set out as they would have been. There was an Edwardian Pub selling beer, and an old fashioned sweet-shop where we bought our 2oz ration of sweets to last a whole week! The vast collections of toys, and domestic appliances had many people in stitches reminiscing and imagining life as it would have been.
